This club is an IRC Section 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation organized for education and scientific purposes and provides a medium for training amateur radio operators, examining applicants who may wish to become licensed amateur radio operators, exchanging ideas and providing study designed to increase the members’ knowledge and expertise in this highly technical field, assisting government agencies by providing emergency communications when needed in an efficient manner, and specifically being available to undertake any and all lawful purpose or purposes under Kentucky Revised Statues Chapter 273 and Part 97 of the Federal Communications Commission regulations.

The Owensboro Amateur Radio Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Room 18 of the Owensboro Community & Technical College classroom building located at 1501 Frederica Street, Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio is invited to attend. Parking is available at the rear of the classroom building.
